Restaurant bookings with card guarantee

  • Some online restaurant bookings may require a credit or debit card as a guarantee.
  • When this option is enabled, the card is collected through Stripe, an external provider specialized in electronic payments, and the full card details are not stored on our systems.
  • No charge is made when the request is submitted, unless this is expressly stated during the booking process or in the following confirmation.
  • The card is requested only as a booking guarantee and for handling possible no-shows, late cancellations, or other situations expressly communicated to the guest.
  • Cancellation is free until the deadline shown during the booking process.
  • In case of cancellation after that deadline or no-show, the restaurant may charge the per-guest amount displayed before the request is submitted, which may vary depending on the day, service, party size, or special events.
  • Any later charge may only occur in the cases, within the timeframes, and within the limits described in the booking confirmation, in the restaurant policies, or otherwise agreed directly with the guest.
  • Submitting a request does not automatically mean the table is finally confirmed: each reservation remains subject to availability checks by the restaurant.

Data processing and Stripe provider

  • We use Stripe to manage the booking guarantee.
  • Stripe may process personal and technical data, including transaction data, device identifiers, and information required for fraud prevention, authentication, and the proper operation of the service.
